
Adoni Health Institute offers a twelve months intensive full-time and fifteen months part-time Practical Nurse Program covering 1524 contact hours excluding holidays and remediation program
Upon completion of the program, students receive a Practical Nurse Diploma and prepare to sit for the PN National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX)
Successful candidates will be eligible to apply for PN positions in a variety of health care
Students are required to complete 1524 hours of instruction divided into Classroom lectures, Clinical rotation and Skill laboratory sessions
Method of Instruction
A variety of instructional methods are used depending on content area
The methods are designed to assist the student in enhancing critical thinking skills.

A fully equipped Nursing Laboratory center is available to all students

Student-Instructor Ratio
Average class size is 20 Full-Time and 16 Part-Time students with a ratio of 8 students maximum to one instructor in clinical settings

Grading Criteria
The grading system is designed to assess student progress, acquired knowledge and skill competence
A student’s final standing before presentation to the Adoni Institute board of directors for graduation is determined by achievement throughout the levels, taking into consideration evaluation measures such as classroom work, tests, laboratory work, presentations, reports, projects, supervised clinical experiences, participation, and attendance
